Norimaki Sushi is a little more formal. Use of the bamboo mat creates the distinctive and elegant oval slices of Sushi
ideal as a starter, canapes or as a finger buffet
You would need:
Seaweed Slices, Sushi Rice, Your favourite Temaki filling, such as crab, ham or pickles, Bamboo Mat.
Using a Bamboo Sushi Mat, place the seaweed (uncut) onto the mat right at the edge nearest to your body.
Spread evenly with rice, over about 2/3 of the Nori, add your favourite filling a little off centre. Gently roll the mat,
guiding the ingredients in the centre, press lightly with both hands, firming the sushi roll, remove the bamboo
mat, and using a lightly moistened knife, cut the Sushi into 5 or 6 pieces and serve.
